Long ago, people traded items, but today we use special coins and paper to buy things easily.

🎨 Picture This

Imagine if you had a bag of stickers to trade for an apple, but now we use special shiny tokens that everyone agrees are worth the same amount.

A long time ago, before coins existed, people swapped items they had, like apples for eggs, in a way called bartering. It was sometimes hard to find someone who wanted exactly what you had! Later, people started using special things like pretty shells or shiny metal bits that everyone liked and agreed had value. Eventually, leaders made coins and paper money that were easy to carry in our pockets. Now, we use this money to get the things we need, which makes sharing and trading so much simpler for everyone. You are learning how the world works, and that is wonderful! 💰
