Clouds are like fluffy blankets in the sky that tell us what kind of weather is coming.

🎨 Picture This

Think of cumulus clouds like big, soft balls of cotton candy and thin wispy clouds like delicate feathers floating high up.

Clouds are made of tiny water droplets that hang out together in the sky. Some clouds look like big, fluffy cotton balls called cumulus, which mean it's a sunny day. Other clouds look like thin, white feathers high up and are called cirrus. Then there are dark, gray clouds called stratus that act like a heavy blanket, often bringing us a rainy day. It is so much fun to lay on the grass and use your imagination to see shapes in these soft, floating friends! Keep looking up, because you are a junior weather scientist! ☁️
